2-for-1

So I have two things that are not even closely related that I want to blog, but thought it easier to do one post rather than two...

Part 1:
Those that know me know that I have a lot of shoes... It is sort of an addiction. But it drives Denver crazy that I have so many and it drives me crazy how they used to just pile on the floor, making vacuuming a challenge. So I came up with this design and my dad helped me build it. It makes my life so much better and my dad liked it so much he built himself one and is considering selling it. What do you think?

Part 1 1/2:
Don't let drinks get frozen in the fridge. Figure that!
Part 2:
This past weekend Denver and I had our first on-our-own camping experience. We had a blast and learned a few things that we will use next time. Like it is important that the bedding makes it into the truck and if you forget a can opener any kind of knife and a little brute strength will do. We went camping up in Coalville so one day we drove to Evanston and picked some fireworks, then drove back through Wasatch Mt. State Park here are some of the things we saw.

What a break!

Spring Break could not have come at a better time. Life was a titch stressful before we left and we both came back feeling refreshed and like we could take on the world. Our trip started out a little rocky when we did a 360 in the median and drove the wrong way for a mile or so because we were too panicked to think we should turn around to find one of those turn arounds. But, luckily we didn't get hurt or anything and luckily we have awesome family that would drive to Nephi to tag team drive us to Las Vegas so we could still make our flight. All of this happening at around 9 p.m. My poor parents didn't get to bed until 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning. But we got to Cozumel, Mexico safely and had a very nice, relaxing week. Here are some pictures of things we did!

First day there... We had been awake for practically 48 hours... Be nice...

This is the East side of the island.
We saw hundreds of iguanas at the Mayan Ruins.
This is at the top of the light house.

Gotta love the Spanish to English translation.... Yes, I will have the beef shirt.

Beautiful sunset right outside our hotel.

Time to be GRATEFUL

I woke up this morning feeling very grateful. Even though this is a stressful time right now, not knowing what is going to happen next year as far as teaching goes, I feel grateful for what I do have. This past year I have been doing an internship teaching 5th grade and I will finish it up in June. Doing the internship was the best decision I have ever made, besides getting married. :) I also just got offered the assistant coaching job for the Wasatch High School Waspettes! I am so excited to get my foot in the door in this field. Dancing is my passion and I hope to convey that to these girls and hopefully they will have the same passion. Anyways... here are a few things to be grateful for:

  • A husband that, whether he likes it or not, understands me completely and is patient with all of me.
  • The fact that spring is ALMOST here...
  • A group of students that laugh with me... or at me...
  • An apartment that spoils me.
  • Parents and in-laws that spoil us.
  • Family (brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, etc.)
  • Laughter
  • Books
  • All of my friends
  • BUNCO groups
It may be small but if I listed everything you would be very bored...
