So tomorrow is the 3 week mark of being married and we made it! We are still married! We can make it for eternity right?? In all seriousness it has been great. It has been fun getting to know each other in a totally different setting and a different level. After the wedding we took a short honeymoon. My mom let us borrow the Mustang and we headed to Mesquite and stayed in Denver's grandpa's condo. It was such a nice place. We got to go down to Vegas and play for the day which was fun. We even won a little money!! Once we got back the struggle was getting settled into our new place, which is a better place than any newlyweds should be allowed to have. Much thanks to my dad! But Denver nor I realized how much stuff I had... It is still an on going process, but we will get there someday. Here are some pictures of our adventures! Enjoy!
Peace, it does not mean to be in a place where there is not noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

EnGagEd!!
I always knew the day would come when I would find someone that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Never did I realize that it would come so quickly. The best part is that I couldn't be happier! So get into the engagement story I apparently am really difficult to surprise because throughout the whole ring shopping and planning I ruined most of Denver's plans.. His first plan was to propose when his sister-in-law was taking some fake engagement pictures to help build her portfolio, but when he told me the day we were going to do it I said, "Are you going to propose then?..." He just threw his hands in the air and said, "Jordan!" I knew I had spoiled something... We went ring shopping on Wednesday and Thursday I got into his car and there was a Sierra-West Jewelers receipt sitting on the seat. I looked at him and told him I had seen something I don't think I was meant to see. My friend Rachel told me it would have been better if I just didn't say anything and pretend I hadn't seen a thing... oops.. Its ok turns out Denver is not a very good liar and he told me that it was just a bid that the salesman had given him the day before. I was nice and told him I believed him. Then on Friday when I asked him what he was doing he said he was headed to Provo to pick up some "parts".
Ever since Thursday when I saw the receipt I had been waiting very anxiously because we had a date set and I was ready to get planning! Well on Saturday he asked me to go on a date and that he would be there at six to pick me up. Before we went to dinner we had to go to a friends wedding reception. When he came and picked me up he said that he had forgotten the gift and we need to run back to Midway to pick it up. So as we are driving across Midway Lane we pass the South Field Parks parking lot and there is a highway patrol sitting in the parking lot. I said, "Watch out for that cop... you already have one ticket. We can't be getting anymore!" As we pass the cop his wheels start rolling and I know we are screwed. The cop catches up to us and starts getting closer and closer. What does Denver do? Oh he speeds up. I was so mad at him because I knew there was no way we were getting out of this ticket. The cop flips his lights on and pulls us over. He comes up to the window and we can't find Denver's registration, but the cop says he can just look it up. At this point I just know we are getting a ticket. Once the cop walks away we find his registration...in the envelope with his other ticket... ha While the cop is gone we are talking about how weird he was about coming up to the window and how I am sure we are getting a ticket because Denver pushed on the gas as the cop pulled out. When the cop comes back he tells us we have to get out of the car because it has been reported as stolen. I thought oh great we are going to jail! He is going to handcuff us right here and take us in. As I get out of the car and walk to the back I see the ring box sitting on the trunk right before Denver grabbed it. I don't completely remember what Denver said but he told me after he said that I was a hard girl to surprise, but he knew he could get me on this one! He said he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. He got down on one knee and said, "Will you..." and I said yes! before I let him finish and gave him the biggest hug ever!
This is a proposal that I will definitely never forget! I was in so much shock and was laughing so hard that it almost felt like crying. The best part is the highway patrol had his camera turned on and got the whole thing on video! I am very excited to go back and watch it. I feel so lucky to be engaged to the man of my dreams and can't wait to start this new part of my life!

better late than never...
So... new resolution starting in June... I am going to be a better blogger, I am going to be a better blogger, I am going.... ok so point taken? I sure hope so. A lot has happened since I last posted so instead of trying to play catch up I will just start with the recent. Most recent thing that has happened in my life is foot surgery! ahh crazy, I know.. but I had this nasty tailors bunion/big bursa and I figured since I am done dancing seriously :( and I start teaching in August :) this summer would be the best time to do it! It was awful for the first few days not being able to keep any food down for the first day or so because of pain pills, then being in pain because the pills weren't working, but I am doing much better now and just waiting for the incision to heal (which I have conveniently posted a picture of for you below). One thing is for sure, not being able to use my foot very well has made me very grateful for my feet. It is amazing how many things they allow you to do. Next week the doctor is going to remove the stitches and I will be home free and headed to Lake Powell! Which I am very excited for!
